Mona
Doyle founded and chairs The Consumer
Network, Inc., a research and consulting
firm, and publishes The Shopper Report,
a monthly monitor of consumer thinking
and perceptions. Before The Consumer Network,
she was Vice-President of Consumer Affairs
and Research for a 600-store supermarket
chain. Before getting into retailing,
she worked for the Bell System, a consulting
group that developed MasterCard, and a
management science group at RCA.
Mona
has appeared as a consumer and packaging
expert on Face the Nation, Good Morning
America and National Public Radio. Her
insights and research findings are quoted
in the Wall Street Journal, Advertising
Age, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune,
and The Philadelphia Inquirer. She has
appeared on the pages of Business Week,
Fortune, Changing Times, Family Circle,
and The Washington Post.
An honors graduate of the University of
Pennsylvania in psychology, Mona has done
graduate work at Temple, Drexel and Cornell
Universities. Her list of clients and
subscribers to her monthly newsletter,
The Shopper Report, include such familiar
names as Wegman’s, WaWa, Wal-Mart,
Campbell Soup, and P&G. She writes
regular columns for several trade magazines,
has spoken before business audiences from
New York to Hawaii and Hong Kong, and
is editor-author of a book called Packaging
Strategies: Winning The Consumer. Mona
Doyle serves on the executive board of
the Multiple Sclerosis Society of the
Delaware Valley, the regional board of
the American Red Cross, and on the Editorial
Board of Brand Packaging magazine. She
is a former board member of the Better
Business Bureau of Greater Philadelphia,
the Forum of Executive Women, the New
Jersey Board of Pharmacy, the University
of Tennessee Waste Management Center,
and the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals
