Bret Carlson is a graduate of Michigan State University's School of Packaging and has nearly twenty years of experience in the packaging industry. Primary focus is on returnable packaging / material handling systems and supply chain management. Current professional certifications include CPP (since 1996) and PMP (Project Management Professional, since 1995) and he holds one packaging related patent. As a packaging user, he has worked in the electronics/computer industry and as a packaging services provider, he has worked with clients in the automotive, heavy industrial vehicle, aerospace, electronics and beverage industries. He is the Director of Engineering Services at ORBIS Corporation and in this role he manages a team of packaging and logistics professionals who work closely with clients to convert their supply chains to optimized reusable packaging systems.
